Know Deb
Debra “Deb” Duval is a Florida-born, internationally raised artist and entrepreneur based in Brooklyn, NY. After years of working freelance alongside top music and entertainment executives, she founded Vulpes Creative in 2025 to formalize her passion for art and creative project management. She holds a degree in Biology & Physics from Northwestern University and conducted biomedical research before turning her love of solving seemingly impossible problems into a career.
At Vulpes Creative, Deb specializes in creative operations and strategic project oversight, including leading end-to-end song and album launches, integrated marketing initiatives, and cohesive brand and visual systems. Bringing together analytical thinking and a creative perspective, she serves as a hands-on partner to artists, executives, and creative ventures.
Creative Consulting & Management
Deb’s start in the music industry began in 2021 working alongside David Frangioni, CEO of Modern Drummer and longtime collaborator with Aerosmith, KISS, and Ozzy Osbourne. Advancing quickly into project management, she contributed to recording studio builds, multimedia productions, royalty and contract management, and creative ventures across music, entertainment, and publishing. She later served as studio administrator and head of marketing at a world-class recording studio in the Cayman Islands.
After several years working under the guidance of David, Deb founded her own creative consulting business, translating top-tier industry experience into accessible, strategic support for independent musicians and creative ventures.
Art
A self taught artist working primarily in oil, Deb began painting during her high school years. At the time, Deb would stay up late into the night painting portraits, starting with the eyes and painting outwards. She grew up constantly moving schools, states, countries, and was often haunted by the feeling of being ephemeral. Painting was a way to combat this feeling, and allowed her to leave physical traces of her emotions and influences.
She is heavily inspired by musicians, themes of perfectionism, her struggles with depression, as well as her complex identity as the daughter of an ex-Catholic priest and immigrant mother. While her style continues to evolve, she enjoys painting emotional, intense imagery with highly saturated colors. The juxtaposition acts as a representation of her life with borderline personality disorder.

"Debra Duval stands in a league of her own...She not only has the passion & interest to forge a career in the creative industry, but she also puts in the necessary time to truly learn the industry through the projects we've collaborated on. "
- David Frangioni (CEO of Modern Drummer, Producer, Recording Engineer)
